A good Terminator game?..

I don’t care what anyone says about Terminator 3, it is quite literally one of the worst films I have ever seen. No, it isn’t the worst of cinematography, acting or overall production values but bad because it seemingly attempts to destroy the original source material it is based upon. So news of a Terminator 4 film, in this case Salvation and accompanying video game do not inspire any level of confidence in me.

The film has Christian Bale on its side, but he is just an actor and as an actor he cannot rescue another pathetic script. My hopes are not high for the film. On the other hand the video game which is set two years before the film does actually look promising. It certainly looks the part, graphically it looks splendid and with Gears of War style cover mechanic, even if just a carbon copy control scheme, done well could make the game worth a play through, a co-op mode even more so.

The developers have stated this will be something special, don’t they always? They promise this will be the game to finally do away with the belief that there are no good Terminator games. Fingers crossed! For now have a look at these screenshots, they certainly look good.
